Unsurprisingly, Parks City, Utah won the vote. 67 for Park City 17 for Boo's Pants
March 22, 2009
One bid has been recieved this year - Madelyn Boudreaux and Wookie present C16_utah_bid.
As per the Timeline = ratification ends at midnight tonight. Voting begins on March 26th and runs to April 2nd. Pings have been sent to the voter database, so if you haven't recieved one, post to alt.gothic right away.

Bid proposal's for Convergence 16 should be submitted to Siobhan between the 7th and 28th of February 2008. Details are in the Timeline and Bids pages.

The vote results are in. Eilis, Laura and Shannon's Convergence on a Ship, a Fucking Ship mind you Bid in Long Beach, CA won decisively with 63% of the first round votes.
For some reason the table showing the votes insists on being at the bottom of the page. I'm sure someone with better Wiki-Fu than me will fix it up eventually.

All three bids were ratified, time was allowed to clarify the websites and now it is time to vote

Added 3 days to the process to allow bid committees to update their bid sites at the end of Ratification and for the C*B*L to validate that the changes are appropriate.

Proposal submission and modification is over. Bids have been recieved from

- Eilis, Laura Spacekadt and Shannon Eveofdstruction for Longbeach.
- Carlee Noxenlux, Kerry Designmonkey, Erica Vomvamuse, Robert DJ Sprockets and Mike Wimer of MusicWerks for Seattle
Now it is time for the denizens of alt.gothic to ratify the proposals.

The process for selecting who will host Convergence has changed. A new step has been added whereby the denizens of alt.gothic and their friends will ratify all bids prior to them being submitted to the vote.
