Single Issue Politics

Single Issue Politics was a thread created by Jennie Kermode which basically consisted of a list of politically controversial topics. It was intended to put an end to certain types of repetitive political discussion in which posters simply restated their positions ad infinitum. Each poster made a direct response to the thread, explaining their position in regard to each of the issues listed, usually in the form of a single paragraph.
