A lot of people on alt.gothic didn't understand what IHCOYC was trying to do with his name; some even thought it was a reference to an Aztec deity. Unsurprisingly, it got shortened to IX. IX had bats living in his roof and Skeletor on his car dashboard, and he was a keen artist.
