== This is Important, People ==

* 3 oz really, really good dry gin<ref>Gordon's and Beefeater are not even close to meeting this definition. Start with [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombay_Sapphire Bombay Sapphire].</ref>.
* 1/2 oz dry vermouth
* Ice cubes
* Olives. Cocktail onions may be used instead to make a [[Gibson]].

# Throw ice cubes into cocktail shaker.
# Add vermouth
# Shake vigourously
# Pour off liquid<ref>This leaves the ice cubes coated in vermouth.</ref>.
# Add gin
# Shake vigourously
# Pour into martini glass.
# Add cocktail olive(s).
# Give to [[User:Axel | Axel]] for testing.
# Make another for yourself.
