Goths on Ice is a sort-of-annual unofficial Convergence event. Basically, a bunch of goths get together and go ice skating.
- Convergence IX The first known Goths on Ice was held during the Convergence IX weekend in Las Vegas,NV in 2003.
- Convergence XIII Another Goths on Ice was held at Lloyd Center Ice during Convergence XII in Portland,OR in 2007. If you talk nice to Oct'avian, there is even some slight video footage of him skating on the ice in his smoky grey opera cape (before the rink-nazi's said we couldn't video tape after they already said it was okay).
- Convergence XIV Goths on Ice was held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Tampa Ice Sports Forum in Brandon, FL. Twenty-five skating goths (including at least five Canadians) showed up, scaring more than a handful of hockey moms and making this the largest GOI event to date. The outing was also covered by local news media, and it won an award! Tampa Bay's Weirdest Event of 2008!
- Convergence XV Goths on Ice will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Glacial Gardens in Lakewood, California. Meet in the bar adjacent to the Queen Mary hotel registration desk at 1 p.m. to get in on a carpool or caravan.
