Scary Lady Sarah is a professional DJ in Chicago, IL who has promoted and been involved in many successful club nights, shows and events, as well as being one of the organizers of Convergence X and Convergence XX in Chicago.  She also created & ran the Saturnalia festivals for five years in Chicago.

As well as being one of the organizers of [[C10 | Convergence X]] in Chicago,IL in 2004 she was one of the organizers of [[Saturnalia]], an annual goth/industrial event which ran for five years.


Scary Lady Sarah has been a regular DJ at Convergence, spinning sets at C1, C4, C5, C6, C8, C9, C10, C12, C19, C20, C21, C23, C24 and her band The Bellwether Syndicate played at C19, C21, and C24.
Scary Lady Sarah has also been a regular DJ at Convergence, spinning a set at [[C6 | Convergence VI]] in Seattle,WA in 2000, [[C8 | Convergence VIII]] in Montreal,QC in 2002, [[C9 | Convergence IX]] in Las Vegas,NV in 2003 and at [[C12 | Convergence XII]] in New Orleans,LA in 2006. She is also a regular DJ at [http://wgw.topmum.co.uk Whitby Gothic Weekend].
 
She has been a regular DJ at Whitby Gothic Weekend, Wave-Gotik-Treffen, and frequently travels across the US as a featured guest DJ.  Her club night Nocturna in Chicago, which she started in 1988, is the 2nd longest-running goth event in the world.
