A rather more obviously controversial question, this nevertheless sneaks out of the woodwork from time to time. It's more socially complicated than it used to be because, at this stage in alt.gothic's history, quite a number of its regulars have fucked each other already, and the question of whether they might ''still'' want to, post horrible break-ups, is therefore somewhat fraught.

Of course, the suppression of these threads has never stopped people from making announcements about whom they like best or whom the want to fuck. It's just, you know, one of those things to be ''discreet'' about, to the extent that a public forum permits.

The Forbidden Thread is so forbidden that a lot of people on alt.gothic don't actually know what it is at all, so they stumble about blindly just hoping that they don't bring it up by accident and suffer the wrath of the ever-watchful Mother Goth Brain. In fact there are two forbidden threads, neither of which has ever been repressed with complete success.

1. - Who is your Favourite Poster?

The first thread to be forbidden, this seems sufficiently innocent at first glance that newbies bring it up from time to time and inadvertently attract a kicking. Be warned, O newbies! We are not allowed to talk about this stuff because someone might get left out and their feelings might be hurt and then they might cry.

2. - Which Netgoths do you Want to Fuck?

A rather more obviously controversial question, this nevertheless sneaks out of the woodwork from time to time. It's more socially complicated than it used to be because, at this stage in alt.gothic's history, quite a number of its regulars have fucked each other already, and the question of whether they might still want to, post horrible break-ups, is therefore somewhat fraught.

Of course, the suppression of these threads has never stopped people from making announcements about whom they like best or whom the want to fuck. It's just, you know, one of those things to be discreet about, to the extent that a public forum permits.
